normally, when i'm out, i'll set my phone on silent mode (i.e. vibrate only). but i recently noticed that the date disappeared
only this morning, i realised that it was the silent mode that "blocked" the date. wonder what the solution is...

Hi the only solution that I came across in some forum was that this date only appears in the Normal mode. So if you really need teh silent mode most of the time, then customize your Normal mode to act as teh Silent mode, and then set some other mode to be your Normal mode :)
